Founder and CEO Melanie Phillibert lived outside of Canada for a number of years and returned home with her family to settle in Quinte West in the beginning of 2015.

Melanie is an award winning digital marketer. In 2006 when she founded IMS, her vision was to use her online marketing expertise to guide brick and mortar businesses towards success online.

Melanie oversees project management and is the point person to take each project from initial concept and idea to reality. Melanie also manages the web hosting aspect of all projects.

She builds websites, preferring to work with WordPress, although she now spends most of her time researching and being the liaison between clients and the IMS team.

When she is not working on web development projects she loves to spend time with her family and friends and she enjoys gardening and being outdoors.

Alexandru started doing graphic design 14 years ago as a hobbyist. Very soon afterwards he began creating graphic designs for the now renowned 99design.com. In 2007 he formed an alliance with IMS.

By 2008, Alex was creating corporate websites choosing to work almost exclusively with WordPress due to its versatility. Alex’s creativity and his capacity to understand branding and client needs have contributed to his outstanding results as head of the development team at IMS.

While completing projects from a global clientele and cultivating his passion for calligraphy and t-shirt design, Alex also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising.

Alex was part on the Toluna Quick Surveys R&D team for 4 years. He was responsible for Behavior Driven Development scenarios and acceptance test cases for a platform that allows companies to create/customize and apply surveys.

The platform has clients ranging from small market research team to large, well established brands like Fiat, Nivea, Peugeot and Sega. While working with these clients Alex developed a keen understanding of what these clients wanted in their web real estate.

Blair’s exposure to design was as a child in his father’s photography and printing press shops. Design and creativity have been a common theme throughout Blair’s career, no matter the medium. Be it print or digital. Having experience in both traditional design and web/IT has allowed Blair to develop the skills to be adaptable across many projects.

Blair’s formal design education was received through the New Brunswick Community College. After graduating he took a position with a Fredericton start-up – An experience that required constant adaptability and problem-solving.

Blair also enjoys working with computers which he has done for over 10 years in various capacities (hardware, software, development, design). He recently completed a 2-year diploma in computer programming to augment his skills.

Blair has many years of experience with HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery/Cybersecurity. Through work and college experiences, he is also familiar with software versioning, SQL databases, C#, and .NET programming.

Blair has over a decade of experience with industry-leading design tools (Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud) as well as several open-source and alternative packages.

He is a father of 2 active boys and in his free time he spends a lot of time outdoors with his sons.

Rosemary Dawn Allison is a British-Canadian who has been living in Italy for over 20 years. An accomplished writer, she works as a web content provider, English language editor, and translates from Italian into English.

She also uses InDesign and illustrates digitally or using paints, pencils and crayons.
